Why We Chose To Be  A B Corp

Workers and consumers alike are looking for a better way to do business. It’s not just about the bottom line, the biggest salary, or the best deal — it’s about the impact made on the community and planet That’s why BLab created Certified B Corporations.

What is a B Corporation?

B Corporations (B Corps) meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose. So what does that mean? It means that companies recognize the responsibility for every decision, from big swings like transitioning to renewable energy to small steps like removing plastic straws and stirrers. In the past, the question would be, “Is this good for the business?” with a B Corp Certification, the question becomes, “Is this good for the business and the global greater good?”

How does Visit.org make the world a better place?

Visit.org is the leading provider of employee engagement programming,  Many top-tier companies rely on Visit.org to create DEI and social impact experiences to enhance their employee engagement strategy to attract, retain and inspire a diverse workforce, embed social impact into their corporate culture, and create positive change in the world. Every decision at Visit.org is made with a  focus on ensuring diversity, sustainability, equity, and inclusion. We take this mindset into every vetting session with our nonprofit partners and every bespoke planning session with our corporate clients.

B Corps are the future of the business landscape. We’re proud to be part of the B Corporation Community along with Patagonia, Kickstarter, Etsy, and Ben & Jerry’s, whose owner Unilever is working to explore how the B Corp status can work for large multinational companies.
