ON Semiconductor Partners with Visit.org for National Volunteer Week 2021

In observance of National Volunteer Week (April 18-24), employees from ON Semiconductor, a leading supplier of innovative semiconductor-based products and solutions, will be gathering online to participate in Visit.org’s remote giving back experiences. Employee volunteers in the United States and Canada will be making an impact on:

  1. The Arts By participating in an online drawing workshop, their team will provide two students in need free access to arts education, and help a teacher receive support for their work.

  2. Senior Isolation Employees will be volunteering to uplift isolated seniors through a virtual card making activity. They’ll also be contributing to a meal program that serves adults over 60 who are unable to provide for themselves.

  3. Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM) Education With the support of an ON Semiconductor Foundation grant, K-12 teachers will have access to professional development workshops focused on STEAM education and its integration in the classroom.

  4. Young People with Special Needs The team will be supporting educators and students by coming together virtually to assemble learning materials for children with special needs.

To help the ON Semiconductor team maximize its partnerships with these causes, Visit.org is facilitating the virtual volunteering experiences that have been curated and customized to match the company’s and employees’ needs and values during the week of April 19.

Each activity has been hand-picked, vetted and customized to not only ensure its benefit to the community it serves, but to engage employees through purpose.
